Story about 

We, Tina and Jan, simply packed the car in June 23 and went on vacation to Italy with our dog Rajah and son Sinan. Of course, we already had in the back of our minds that if necessary we simply wouldn't go back. We visited Grosetto, the island of Elba, the entire Tuscany, always looking for a suitable house for our project - our own farm. So we traveled through the country for a few weeks, looked at lots of hovels and huts ready for demolition and then suddenly discovered this gem near Rome. We immediately fell in love with the large house, the property and the possibilities. It took about a week to get everything sorted and we've been living here for 1.5 years now. Many animals have now moved in with us, we have built many stables, generally redesigned a lot and made this farm a comfortable home. Of course there is still a lot of chaos, hence the name of the crazy house - nothing is up to the norm here. This starts with the sockets, which all require different sized plugs, with light switches that don't work, right up to the realization of how hot 40 degrees in the shade really is. It's our job to build a really great place for people and animals here, we look forward to meeting new people and welcoming old friends and family here, hosting them and showing them how much love and work goes into a farm.
